Responsabilities of Authors

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest

When authors submit a manuscript, they should disclose any conflicts of interests, such as financial and personal relationships that might bias their work. To prevent ambiguity, authors must state explicitly whether potential conflicts do or do not exist.

Manuscripts that received funding from commercial firms, private foundations, and government should highlight the background to financial support for the research in order to avoid biases that can discredit the research.
